MOSES SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH CHELSEA.
              01 March 2017   |   4:50 am
Nigerian international Victor Moses’ impressive form this season saw him rewarded with a new two year contract by Premier League leaders Chelsea on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old wing-back — who prior to this season spent the majority of his time since joining Chelsea in 2012 on loan — signed a two year extension which will see him tied to the club till 2021.

“I feel very excited,” Moses told the club website.

“I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal.

“Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.

“We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence.

“I just want to keep on enjoying it and working hard for the team,” added Moses, who engendered five bids from Chelsea to his previous club Wigan before finally being sold.

Michael Emenalo, Chelsea technical director, said Moses had earned his new deal after flourishing under manager Antonio Conte, who has guided the club in his first season to a 10 point lead over Tottenham in the table.

“We are extremely pleased Victor has chosen to extend his contract with us,” he told the club website.

“He is enjoying an excellent season and, under Antonio’s leadership, has proved to be an important member of the squad.

“This new contract is testament to Victor’s hard work and dedication to succeed at Chelsea and we believe he will be a big part of our future success.”

British trainer launches nude-ercise classes. Click to see more pictures.

Helen Smith
British Trainer Launches Nude-ercise Classes
Helen Smith is baring it all for the sake of sports. The 35-year-old personal trainer has been turning heads in Southampton, the UK, with her revolutionary nude workout sessions.

People aged between 33 and 70 check their clothes at the gym door before joining Helen for 60-minute classes that include jumping-jacks, sit-ups, push-ups and partner exercises.

Women, however, can opt for sports bras for comfy consideration.

Helen said she was inspired to become a naturist after spending an afternoon at a nudist beach in France two years ago. She applied the approach to sports because, according to her, nudity could uncover some common mistakes in working out.

“For example, if you are doing a plank but wearing baggy exercise clothes, it is hard to tell if you have the correct form or not.”

“It will premiere at the Sundance International Film Festival on Jan. 20, 2017. “The short documentary, WAITING FOR HASSANA, tells the story of the Chibok abductions from a single perspective — a voice of one of the fifty-seven escapees. “The film was shot over the course of 2016 in Nigeria by acclaimed Nigerian cinematographer, Victor Okhai. “Nnamdi Asomugha, a Nigerian-American and former NFL cornerback turned producer, is the primary backer and executive producer on the project.

“Gallerist, Edward Tyler Nahem, and philanthropists, Ann and Andrew Tisch, are also executive producers,” the statement said. With 46,660 attendees in 2016, Sundance is the largest independent film festival in the U.S. Held in January in Park City, Salt.

Lake City, and Ogden, as well as at the Sundance Resort, the festival is a showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers.  As the director, my aim was to visually and sonically plunge audiences into the psychological and emotional landscape of our subject. `My hope is that audiences will leave feeling inextricably linked to her life and her story – that it will become as much their story as it is hers. “That radical intimacy is, to me, the basic and necessary function of art. It was also important to me that a Nigerian told this story, and I am proud that our crew reflects that drive.”

It also quoted Iweala as saying: “Within every tragedy there are incredible stories of resilience. “When my mother came to me and said that people need to hear about the strength of these young women who have suffered the worst and yet still have so much to offer the world, I said I would help to get that story out there.

“WAITING FOR HASSANA is the result of a team of Nigerians dedicated to telling our own stories to ourselves and the world.” It explained that WAITING FOR HASSANA is a film that seeks to reframe the narrative about the Chibok abductions by emphasising the strength and perseverance of an interrupted friendship that is both a source of profound pain and intense motivation to pursue a better life through education.
